Purso Greenline – 100% Recycled Aluminum
Purso is among the first aluminium manufacturers in the world to create a product line for recycled aluminium – Purso Greenline.
Customer receives Purso Greenline certificate to guarantee that the product is made of recycled aluminum from start to finish. Certificate can be used in customer’s own marketing.
Recycling reduces the use of natural resources and consumes only 5% of the energy required to make the same amount of aluminum from its virgin source (primary aluminium).
Energy saving, recyclability and environmental values tell that customer is acting responsibly in their own operations. In addition, using 100% recycled material improves customer’s own recycling rate. As a durable product aluminium is excellent material for recycling since it retains its quality.
The Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) describes the environmental impacts of a product.
Purso’s aluminium products have product-specific EPDs. The declarations, approved by an independent third party, are the only method based on international standards for the assessment of the environmental impacts of products during their life cycle.
Surface treatment options
Anodizing
Anodizing provides aluminium with a surface that is resistant to corrosion, UV radiation, and wear. Different colours create a deeper, more refined style for the building – in addition to natural anodized silver, you can choose electrolytic colour-anodized shades such as bronze, black, and gold.
Powder coating
Powder coating creates an exceptionally durable painted surface. You can freely choose the colour shade and gloss level according to your preferences. At Purso’s in-house powder coating facility, various textured and pearlescent effects can also be achieved.
100% recycled Greenline aluminium
We will transition to using only Greenline aluminium in all our building system products during 2025. Aluminium is an excellent material for recycling, as it retains its qualities, and using it significantly reduces carbon dioxide emissions. Greenline aluminium is produced at Purso’s own remelt plant. The energy required to remelt aluminium is only about 5% compared to the production of primary aluminium. All aluminium alloys used in our production are fully recyclable at the end of their lifecycle.
