Anfra Fences uses profiles made of Greenline aluminium in its long-lasting mesh fences and gates. One kilometre of fencing requires around 900 metres of aluminium profile. Thanks to its own warehouse, the company can offer flexible and fast deliveries to customers. If needed, profiles in different sizes can be ordered from Purso, which also provides quick deliveries.
Greenline aluminium as a competitive advantage
When Anfra Fences was founded in 2023, there were already several established fence manufacturers in the Nordic countries. It was therefore important to find ways to stand out from the competition. In addition to high-quality customer service and its own professional installation teams, the company wanted the product itself to offer a clear advantage, says Business Manager Aki Puoskari:
– Purso was a natural choice as a partner because they were the only supplier able to offer recycled aluminium profiles that are not made solely from their own production scrap.
Customers of Anfra Fences, including infrastructure contractors, construction companies and municipalities, are increasingly pursuing environmental certifications. In those cases, it is important that the product’s carbon footprint is low and can be verified throughout its lifecycle.
– There are clear figures showing that Greenline profiles are an environmentally responsible choice. The product has an EPD, and when needed we can provide our customers with certificates and calculations supplied by Purso. Together with Purso, we can be confident that the products delivered to us are genuinely made from recycled aluminium, says Aki Puoskari.
Anfra Fences products are designed to last at least 20–25 years. Even after that, the aluminium can be recycled again and again without losing its quality.
Joint product development
Purso’s experts have been involved in Anfra Fences’ product development projects from the very beginning. The work started with fence posts and later expanded to gate profiles and their fittings. The longest extruded aluminium profiles are 12.5 metres long, while some fastening bands are only 5cm long. Anfra Fences uses several profiles developed specifically for its needs. The company has also found suitable tubes for fence posts from Purso’s standard profile variety. Purso’s design support is an important part of these projects.
– At the moment, we are working on a new profile for sliding gates where the wheels need to run smoothly and without friction, says Puoskari.
Some of Purso’s profiles are delivered from Siuro to Kempele ready-cut for further processing, while others are delivered at full length. From there, the frames continue to Tupos for final finishing. The end application may be anything from a dog park to an industrial site, explains Project Sales Manager Jami Tihinen:

Lower carbon footprint for your profile with Greenline
100% recycled Greenline aluminum is widely used in our production. It is made of post-consumer aluminum scrap and industrial by-products. Remelting aluminium requires only about 5% of the energy needed to produce primary aluminum.In addition, all aluminum alloys used in our production can be recycled again.
The overall carbon footprint of recycled aluminum is very low: only 1.8 kg CO₂ eq/kg, compared to an average of 11.1 kg CO₂ eq/kg for primary aluminum (source: EPD Environmental Product Declaration).
