Molok Oy is the market leader for deep waste collection systems, selling their products in more than 45 countries. This waste management pioneer designs and manufactures responsible waste collection solutions using Purso aluminum profiles. Aluminum profiles are needed for both lifting equipment and product cladding.
“Lifting equipment are used for instance in the lifting of hard containers, where the durability of aluminum is unsurpassed. In addition to durability, aluminum is also light and modifiable”, says Molok Oy Product and Marketing Director Samuli Hellemaa.
Sustainability first
Molok Oy has been using secondary Purso aluminum in its products for decades, even before it became popular. User-friendly and environmentally efficient waste collection systems promote sustainability.
“Purso has been recycling aluminum since the early 1980s at their smelter in Ikaalinen. We have been developing products together with Molok for decades – always putting practicality and responsibility first”, says Purso Oy Key Account Manager Tomi Saukkonen.
The product name of the Molok® deep collection container comes from Molok, the character of ancient legend with a bottomless maw. The topmost layer in a deep collection container compresses the waste below, making it possible to fit even more waste into the container. When the waste is deposited underground where it stays cool, it smells much less and is less accessible to small animals. In the course of its over 30 years of history, the company has installed over 200,000 containers.
