Shadowless courts provide excellent facilities in Rødovre Tennis Club
In autumn 2021, Rødovre Tennis Club in Copenhagen renewed lighting to their three indoor courts. Old fluorescent tubes had reached the end of their lifecycle and got replaced by Purso SNEP® Linear SR luminaires that have passed DIN 18032-3 standard tests of safety against ball throwing. DALI controllable solution was used to meet the requirements of sports lighting standards. The installation process was efficient thanks to special brackets designed for the project, pre-assembled cabling and quick connectors.
Rødovre Tennis Club is pleased with their new lighting which not only creates a pleasant play area but also reduces company’s carbon footprint. The energy consumption of the renewed courts dropped by almost 60% and the investment continues to pay itself back with minimized lighting maintenance work.
Nordic co-operation
Danish LITE A/S chose Purso as their partner for the project. Suitable solutions were developed together.

The lighting designers of LITE utilize SNEP® product selector in their day-to-day work to determine suitable technical features and to ask for quotations. Product selector assists to find just the right version of selected luminaire model. It minimizes the possibility of an error by forming a precise product code based on made selections. All the information from lighting distribution files to datasheet can be found from the same page, leaving out time consuming emailing back and forward. Ultimately, configurated products can be added to cart and a request for further details or prices can be sent out.
– SNEP® product selector has turned out to be an excellent tool for our lighting designers. Comparing available luminaire alternatives is fast and the design process proceeds without interruptions improving the customer experience we deliver. SNEP® product selector also offers support for the sales team. For example, information of different cabling and bracket options can be provided for the customer immediately, Andersen sums up.
